July 17, 2017 – Upon the commencement of her Equal Justice Works Fellowship, Lisa Virgen, began working with the Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative’s Notario Fraud Prevention Working Group. As a member of this group, Lisa crafted brochures with info on Notario Fraud and Tax Preparer Fraud, created PowerPoint displays, prepared a guide for pro bono attorneys, in addition to performed a free 1 hr.
